The College of Medicine at Chicago annually presents the Distinguished Faculty Award to a senior faculty member in recognition of the recipient's excellence in research, service to the profession, or distinction as an educator. The expectation is that this honor will go to an individual who has fulfilled the highest goals of an academician and is nationally or internationally recognized for his or her achievements.

Nominations for the 2005 Distinguished Faculty Award are now being sought. The deadline for nominations has been extended to Wednesday, March 23, 2005. A letter of nomination and the individual's curriculum vitae should be submitted to the attention of:

The Distinguished Faculty Award will be presented at the College's Commencement Ceremony.
