(Clinical and Adjunct tracks)

NEW APPOINTMENTS

New appointments also require completion of the packet appropriate to the assigned track, but may be submitted at any point in the academic year for review at the next committee meeting.

Please note that all appointments to the tenure system (tenure-track assistant professors, probationary "Q" appointments, and tenured faculty) must have prior approval by the Board of Trustees before a faculty member may start his or her appointment. The following information must be forwarded to Campus Faculty Affairs via the COM Dean's Office at least one month prior to the Board meeting preceding the proposed faculty start date:

  • signed offer letter
  • current CV
  • Excel briefing document
  • completed "Service Toward Completion of the Probationary Period" form for assistant professors (if hired after the 8th week of the academic year)
