Latinos represent the fastest growing segment of the
population. The U.S. Census Bureau projects that, in the
year 2005, there will be 38million Latinos in the U.S.
Due to this boom in population growth there has been an
increase in the number of publications that address Hispanic
health and related socioeconomic issues.
The Hispanic Center of Excellence provides a variety
of informational resources for faculty, residents and
medical students interested in Hispanic health care issues
or research resources to conduct investigations. This
site is a way to help access some of the information readily
available. Please be aware that this is not a comprehensive
library and is not an end-all warehouse for these types
of resources.
