Campus Housing

UIC's Single Student Residence Hall (SSR) primarily houses graduate students attending health sciences professional schools. SSR is located across the street from the College of Medicine on UIC's West Campus. Living with UIC housing offers many valuable amenities including inexpensive cable tv and wireless Internet, security, furnished apartments, and the chance to interact with faculty through the "Faculty in Residence Program". They offer a special Medical Student contract that includes accommodations for 9 months and three weeks; an eleven month contract is also available. To secure a space you must submit a housing application, a $50 non-refundable application fee, and $100 security deposit to the Central Housing Office. Space is assigned on a first-come, first-served basis. For more information, log on to http://www.housing.uic.edu.
