Summer Community Service Project Funding

Who is eligible?
Individual students and student groups of the College of Medicine at Chicago

Selection Process
A committee will review proposals for merit, feasibility, and appropriateness. All proposals must be submitted to the Office of Student Affairs on the Summer Community Service Funding Application Form below.

Selection Criteria
Projects need not be in the Chicago area and the project does not have to be an original student idea or a "new" project. For example, a medical student wanted to take five other volunteers to work on a Habitat for Humanity project and needed gas money to transport the volunteers by car.

Funding
Up to five separate and unrelated projects will be awarded $250 dollars each. Projects that receive funding are required to submit a brief report (less than one page) describing the implementation and impact of the project. Including photographs of the project and feedback from project beneficiaries would be greatly appreciated.

Deadlines
Application deadline: June 15. All funds must be used by August 15.
