College of Medicine’s Urban Health Program (UIC-COM UHP) PROGRAMS

The UIC-COM UHP offers a variety programs and services for high school students to faculty and alumni from underrepresented and disadvantaged groups.  These comprehensive programs are designed to expose students to the medical profession, prepare the next generation of physicians for service in medically underserved areas and provide professional development to current physicians with the ultimate goal of reducing health disparities, specifically in the state of Illinois.  Below is the list of the services/programs that we provide:
