The Department of Dermatology is delighted to announce that an anonymous gift has been made to establish the Dr. Orville J. Stone Professorship in Dermatology. This generous gift, made in honor of Dr. Orville J. Stone, MD '56, will provide resources to support the Department of Dermatology in perpetuity.
The UIC Dermatology Center has been serving patients with all types of skin diseases for over 100 years, making it one of the oldest departments of dermatology in the United States. Our staff is recognized throughout the medical community as experts in the diagnosis and treatment of diseases of the skin, hair and nails. Because of our specialized services, other physicians often refer rare skin diseases to UIC. This site has been designed to provide you with the latest news on the various activities, clinics, and research in the department. It was constructed with the able assistance of Alexander L.
