Purpose of Activity: The purpose of this activity is to teach non-OB physicians and providers how to perform and interpret limited early obstetrical and gynecologic ultrasound.
Intended Audience: Family Medicine attending physicians, nurse midwives, and other non-OB pregnancy providers. Limited to 16 participants.
Agenda
5:30 - 5:40pm Introduction and Background
5:40 - 6:00pm Gynecology Cases with Image Review
6:00 - 6:30pm Early Obstetrical Cases with Image Review
6:30 - 7:40pm Ultrasound Practicum (Workshop with IUD & 1st Trimester models)
7:40 - 8:00pm Panel Discussion Conclusion
Cost: $100 registration fee for non-UIC clinicians. Registration fee includes issuance of CME certificate and learner's manual.
