Introduction to Medical Microbiology MIM 326 - Fall '08

Course Objectives:

Students learn basic concepts of bacterial structure, physiology, metabolism, and genetics. They understand mechanisms of action of various categories of chemotherapeutic agents including antibiotics Introductory principles of immunology and bacterial, fungal, and viral diseases of the different human organ systems are learned.
