Dedication:

The Natalie A. and Louis D. Boshes M.D. Library for the Neurosciences was dedicated on November 13, 1998.  It was dedicated in honor of Dr. and Mrs. Boshes whose gift allowed critical purchases of equipment and services to be made that allowed the Library to open and become active.
Purpose:
The Libary serves as a major educational, archiving, and research resources for the Departments of Neurosurgery, Neurology, and Rehabilitation Medicine.  Its serves faculty, fellows, residents, and medical students.
Holdings:
  • Books--over 2300 hundred texts in the neurosciences
  • Journals--over 80 journals in the neurosciences
  • Historical Archives--Archives of the Departments of Neurosurgery, Neurology, and Rehabilitation Medicine
  • Photographic Archives--A collection of more than 300 photographs of significant international, national, and local neuroscientists including the Founders of Neurology Photographic Exhibit
  • Multimedia Holdings--including videotapes, movies, and audiotapes related to the neurosciences
  • Rare Books--more than 300 historically significant books from the neurosciences
  • Realia--Historically significant equipment including first generation ECT equipment
