This is a great resource calendar for the department. The staff uses it for scheduling committee meetings, journal club meetings, classes and other small gatherings in the departmental conference rooms.

• First, check the Events Calendar to verify that the room is available,
• Second, complete and submit the Room Reservation form (the Events link on the left will take you to this form).
• Third, the departmental office staff is notified via e-mail of your request.
• Next, after your request is received, the departmental office staff will reserved the room for you.
• Finally, you will be notified by e-mail when the room has been reserved.

The Department of Physiology and Biophysics sponsors two major seminar programs. These seminars are presented by outstanding speakers from around the world.

• The weekly departmental seminar series, which is held every Friday at 9:00 a.m. in room 1020 COMRB.
• The Colloquium on Cellular Signaling which is held monthly.

The department also instituted the Work in Progress Seminar series, which are held on Friday afternoons during the regular school year. These seminar are very informal 30 min presentation by two investigators in the department.
