Coordination of cell signaling by protein targeting and scaffolding

My research is focused on understanding how the coordination of signal transduction by scaffolding and subcellular targeting of proteins can regulate physiological functions.

The goal of this research is to determine how the disruption of signaling complexes can lead to pathogenesis.

Currently, I am particularly interested in the process of cardiac hypertrophy, which is often a major component underlying cardiovascular disease.
