Srikanth Pendyala , M.D.

Research Assistant Professor


Research Interests

Dr. Pendyala is a physician-scientist with more than 9 years of clinical and basic science experience in an academic research environment. He is well trained in conducting clinical trials and coordinated Phase III and Phase IV for multiple myeloma and neuroendocrine tumors. He finished Pulmonary Critical Care Fellowship at the Johns Hopkins University and at the University Of Chicago. His translational research is focused on acute lung injury and developing novel therapeutics by reducing the vascular injury. Dr. Pendyala is currently investigating the mechanisms regulating this injury. For the year 2008, he was awarded the Henry Christian Award for his outstanding work at the AFMR meeting. He is trained in Oncology, Surgery and Pulmonary /Critical Care.
