Maarten Bosland, DVSc to join the Division of Pathology Research

Dr. Maarten Bosland will join the Division of Research in September, 2006. Dr. Bosland is moving to UIC from New York University.

Dr. Bosland is a well-funded and highly regarded investigator in prostate cancer research. His bench-to-bedside approach, beginning with animal models and extending to human tissue studies has resulted in two clinical trials. Dr. Bosland joins the prostate cancer research team at UIC which also includes Dr. Peter Gann, Director of the Division of Pathology Research.
