The
Bureau of Foreign Medical Specialists of the Ministry of Health, People's
Republic of China, invited Dr. Folberg to come to Beijing and teach at the
Third Teaching Hospital of the Beijing
Medical University. During this trip, from September 7-11, 1998, Dr.
Folberg taught residents from several teaching programs and met with faculty
members from the Department of Ophthalmology to explore ways of exchaning
information on laboratory services, research, and teaching.
