Annually, the ASAM Expo showcases student research from Asian American
Studies courses at UIC. The aim of each year’s Expo is to affirm the value
of sharing student scholarship beyond the confines of the classroom. This
year’s Expo seeks to build knowledge about Asian American lives and
communities at UIC and in the greater Chicago area through ethnographic
projects resulting from community-engaged research by students.
This event is made possible through generous funding from Asian American Studies at UIC and is co-sponsored by Hull House and Asian American Resource and Cultural Center.
