Child Care at UIC
On November 27, 2007, Provost Tanner charged the Infant and Toddler Task Force with examining the options available for infant and toddler care and suggested that there was potentially a spectrum of options that ranged from a list of resources to a new facility. The committee will review the options and plan to report back in March. Some factors that need to be addressed are
- Location
- Economics
- Quality of program
- Outsourcing and associated liabilities
The Task Force has been examining these issues and working on preparations to develop short and long term strategies, outlining the resources and associated costs.
