Testing Access Consultants
Coordinates testing services for students taking exams at the Disability Resource Center.

Community Access Consultants
Develops partnerships with students organizations on campus and surrounding community.  Facilitates student networking and serves as mentor for students with disabilities transitioning to college life.  Organizes and participates in events and activities related to the student community at UIC and outside community, such as student orientation, High Schools Fairs, Career Fairs and others.  Fosters relationships with UIC Committees to promote disability advocacy and awareness on campus.

Brian Heyburn
Disability Culture Consultant 
Plans and promotes disability culture events, serves as an assistant to the Chair of the DRC Disability Culture Advisory Committee and as the liaison between the DRC and other Centers for Cultural Understanding and Social Change.  Develops partnerships with disability organizations on campus and surrounding community.

Facilities Access Consultant
Works directly with students and UIC staff to ensure access to campus facilities, including buildings, classrooms, and transportation

Information Access Consultant
Assists students with disabilities in gaining access to course instructional materials, including access to textbooks, journals, and exams in alternative formats.   Coordinates audio description and note taking services.  Works with the Assistive Technology specialist to ensure access to university computer labs and university libraries.

Faculty Access Consultant
Fosters partnerships between the Disability Resource Center and campus units to increase disability awareness, develops and provides disability-related trainings, and assists UIC to produce disability competent professionals by infusing Disability and Deaf Studies topics into the full range of UIC curricula
