Phase II: Diversity Strategic Planning
(June 2010 - January 2012)

Diversity Strategic Planning – the second stage of the DSTP process – will be shaped by and built upon the outcomes of our Diversity Strategic Thinking activities. Diversity Strategic Planning will begin in 2010 and a Diversity Strategic Plan for the campus will be published in January 2012. 

The campus Diversity Strategic Plan will articulate the university’s diversity agenda. The plan will include our diversity vision and mission, our goals and aims, and the programs, policies and activities that will move UIC towards achievement of these goals. 

Similarly, each college and administrative unit will craft diversity strategic plans that communicate their distinctive agenda.

The outcome of this planning will also include approaches and mechanisms for regular assessment of our progress and the effectiveness of our activities toward achievement of our diversity goals.

Phase I: Diversity Strategic Thinking (January 2009 – May 2010)
