D. An Introduction to the UIC Portfolio

Explore the UIC Portfolio to meet students, faculty and alumni who will share their UIC experiences with you. The electronic portfolios created by the six participating universities are designed to showcase the distinctive characteristics, work, and accomplishments of urban public universities. UIC has organized its urban portfolio around the themes of City, Opportunities, and Diversity.

The University of Illinois at Chicago Portfolio has been developed as part of the Urban Universities Portfolio Project, funded by the Pew Charitable Trusts and co-sponsored by the American Association for Higher Education (AAHE). In addition to the University of Illinois at Chicago, the other participating universities include: California State University, George State University, Indiana University/Purdue University, Portland State University, and the University of Massachusetts.

The UIC Faculty Handbook is produced and maintained by the Office of Faculty Affairs Human Resources. The information contained in this Handbook is applicable to the faculty at the University of Illinois at Chicago only.
