For Department Heads

All college departments are required by the University of Illinois Statutes (Article II, Section 3b) to have bylaws governing the functions of the department. Because not all departments are in compliance with the UI Statutes, a Guide for Revising or Drafting Departmental Bylaws has been created and is now available to Department Heads/Chairs. All departments should have a bylaw document by December 1, 2012.
