Vice Provost
for Resource Planning and Management
University of Illinois at Chicago
As Vice Provost for Resource Planning and Management, Dr. Frank
Goldberg will lead in the planning and allocating of campus resources
related to finances, space and physical planning, and informational
data reporting and analysis to support the academic enterprise.
Prior
to his appointment as Vice Provost, Dr. Goldberg taught economics
at University of Wisconsin - Whitewater and at Roosevelt University
in Chicago. He served in administrative capacities at Northwestern
University, where he was assistant dean of the graduate school;
at the University of Wisconsin - Milwaukee, where he was director
of institutional research and later director of budgets and institutional
research; at the University of Memphis, where he was the university’s chief budget and planning officer;
and—most recently--at the University of Wisconsin System,
where he was responsible for policy analysis and research for the
15 campus system. He received his bachelor’s degree in economics
from the City College of New York and his master’s and doctorate
in labor and industrial relations from the University of Illinois
at Urbana-Champaign.
Dr. Goldberg is a member of the Association for Institutional
Research and the Society for College and University Planning and
has presented papers on student performance and retention.
