Welcome to the UIC Office of the Provost and
Vice Chancellor for Academic Affairs

UIC's Provost and Vice Chancellor for Academic Affairs is the chief academic officer as well as the chief operating officer for the university. All of the colleges, the library, and the academic computing center at UIC report to the Provost. The Office of Academic Affairs (OAA) prioritizes and secures resources for campus programs, and develops and oversees academic policy, priorities and initiatives in collaboration with faculty.
