1. How do I get application materials?

All awards use our common application, you can apply online using our webform application, you may request a paper copy of our application from sauic@uic.edu OR you may pick up materials at room 2506 University Hall on weekdays from 8:30am to 4:45pm.  Using the online web application is the preferred method of application.

2. If I complete the 2014 SAUIC application, will I be considered for all SAUIC awards?

Yes, as long as you meet the general eligibility requirements, you will be considered for all awards for which we can consider you.  Once your application is submitted, it will be reviewed and an email response will be sent to you letting you know the names of the awards for which you will be considered.

3. Who can apply for these scholarships?

Generally, SAUIC awards are for currently enrolled UIC students who have completed at least 12 credit hours on campus at UIC. In some cases, part-time students may be eligible. Please read the requirements for each award to be sure that you meet the specific criteria listed. You will not be considered for awards if you do not meet the stated requirements. Prospective freshmen and transfer students are not eligible.

If you are not a currently enrolled UIC student, you may wish to contact UIC Financial Aid to determine what other types of assistance you may qualify for when you enroll.

4. I'm an incoming freshmen or a transfer student, am I eligible?
