Greetings,
Thanks for taking time to visit our website,
we are delighted that you have shown an interest in our program.
The Office of School Relations serves as a liaison to identified
underrepresented communities within the City of Chicago and surrounding
suburbs with a goal to recruit, retain and graduate more students
of color.
Each day our office receives calls, emails and
visits requesting assistance of our various program offerings.
Please know that the Office of School Relations was designed with
your very “special needs” in mind. It is our opinion
that you deserve the very best that UIC can offer in order to
earn a quality education.
As you begin or continue this wonderful chapter
of your life, you will find that college is different than anything
you have experienced before. OSR services include, but not limited to: individual
and/or group academic and personal counseling, supplemental courses,
specialized workshops, face-to-face and distance learning tutorials,
cultural enrichment activities, mentorship opportunities, personal
adaptation with coping and study skills that can enhance your
own personal growth.
Whatever your program of study, we want your
education at UIC to be an enriching experience, academically,
professionally, and culturally. I am confident that
the relationships that you are able to forge at UIC will last
you for a lifetime.
The Office of School Relations Team is here to
assist you, just give us a shout..
