Provost Announcement: Three UIC Administrative Searches
Dear Colleagues:
I am pleased to close this very busy semester by announcing that the following three major administrative searches have been launched:
- Dean, College of Architecture, Design, and the Arts
- Dean, College of Education
- Vice Provost for Budget and Resource Planning (formerly Resource Planning and Management)
More information, including the members of each search committee and how to contact them, is available at the Provost’s Office administrative search website. This website will be updated regularly with advertisements and other materials as they become available.
Your participation in the search processes -- through nominating candidates, encouraging them to apply, interviewing finalists and providing your input to the search committees -- will be essential to its success. Inquiries may be directed to the search committee staff specified on the web site. I am confident that, with your support, all of these committees will be able to identify outstanding finalists for interview in the spring semester.
