Application Checklist

GPPA APPLICATION CHECKLIST

GPPA is a self-managed application process. You, the applicant, are asked to collect and return all required materials.

Please note that letters of recommendation and transcripts will be accepted if mailed by the recommenders or school, but this is not the preferred method and can cause materials to arrive beyond the deadline. It is your responsibility to ensure the submission of all required application materials by the stated deadline. A majority of GPPA programs require Honors College membership, and by completing this application process additional steps are not needed for Honors College consideration.

To be considered complete, a Freshman Application includes the following items:

$50 Application fee or official fee waiver
Freshman Application Personal Statement
All official high school transcripts
Official ACT and/or SAT scores
Official GED scores, if applicable

To be considered complete, the GPPA Supplemental Application includes the following items:

Personal Statement(s) – see below for the writing prompt for the required statements
Three (3) Letters of Recommendation (from people who can attest to your academic and professional capabilities – family members are not acceptable sources)

*International or domestic students with international credentials may be required to submit additional materials

**If you are applying to the Honors College only and NOT to a GPPA program, please visit the Honors College Freshman Applicant web page to ensure that you are submitting all required materials.
