The Office of Special
Scholarship Programs will
be hosting an information session for juniors (students
planning on graduating in 2009) regarding post-graduation
options and scholarships on Thursday, April 24th from
5:00-6:00 PM in 2550 UH.
FOOD WILL BE SERVED!
Various scholarships and opportunities
will be discussed, including (but not limited to) the Fulbright,
Marshall, and
Gates Cambridge programs for students interested in studying
abroad, the NSF and Javits programs for those interested
in pursuing PhD or masters degrees, the Merage and Soros
scholarships for student immigrants (or students whose
parents are immigrants), and the Jack Kent Cooke scholarship
for those who have great financial need.
