The Office of Special
Scholarships is hosting a session this Monday, February
18th on, "How does winning
a scholarship affect my financial aid?"
The Office of Special Scholarship Programs in partnership
with the Scholarship Association for UIC is hosting an information
session and discussion on Monday, February 18 from 2:00 - 4:00
p.m. in room 2550 University Hall.
Tim Opgenorth, the Director of UIC's Financial Aid Office,
will speak about how winning scholarships affect your financial
aid. This session will be helpful for students who have applied
for Scholarship Association for UIC awards or are planning
on applying for other UIC awards this year.
There will be a general presentation followed by a question
and answer period and there will be an opportunity to ask specific
questions related to individual situations.
