Alumni and Friends of the London School of Economics in the United States

Website: www.aflse.org

AFLSE application deadline: February

Important Notes: Prospective students must write directly to the LSE for its prospectus and an application form for admission. The AFLSE does not distribute any LSE material or participate in LSE's admission process. Early application to the LSE is strongly advised because the school begins making decisions in early January. With limited space, some programs of study are filled immediately.

Eligibility: Current and former LSE students are not eligible, except those who enrolled only in summer school. There are no restrictions as to age, field of study, or degree being sought.

Description: The Alumni and Friends of the London School of Economics in the United States (AFLSE) awards two to four full-tuition scholarships annually to American citizens or permanent residents of the United States for one year of graduate study at the London School of Economics. The awards are based on financial need and academic merit. The scholarships are given toward a full academic year beginning in October, and are not renewable.
