Notes:
Eligibility:
The applicant must have a working knowledge of the Japanese language,
and must be a U.S. citizen or permanent resident. The candidate
must be enrolled in a college or university and all areas of study
apply.
Description:
100 scholarships are awarded annually. Recipients receive a stipend
of $2,500 (for students on semester long programs) or $4,000 (for
students on academic year programs).
