Chiba University in Japan-3 scholarships for UIC students

Important Notes:

Eligibility: Students applying to this program must have at least a 3.5/4.0 GPA for all coursework beyond high school.

Description: Thanks to an agreement with Chiba University, UIC students are eligible to apply for scholarships to study at Chiba. Chiba University is located less than an hour by train from the center of Tokyo. Courses in the program are offered in English. Areas of study while at Chiba can include Japanese studies, humanities, social studies, natural sciences and engineering. Intensive Japanese language study is also available.

Successful applicants will receive round-trip airfare and a monthly stipend sufficient to cover basic living expenses during their studies in Japan. Additional financial aid may also be available. Students pay the usual UIC tuition during their stay at Chiba University and receive UIC credit for courses taken there.

Up to three scholarships are available to eligible UIC students.
