Important
Notes: Interested applicants should contact the Office of
Special Scholarship Programs for more information on becoming
a UIC nominee. UIC may nominate only two candidates per
year. Eligibility: Senior standing or have graduated from an accredited four-year US college or university within the past five years; a cumulative undergraduate GPA of 3.20 or better on a scale of 4.0 (or the equivalent); demonstrated significant unmet financial need; bachelor’s degree completed by the start of the fall 2012 semester; plans to begin their first graduate degree program in the performing arts, visual arts, or creative writing at an accredited college or university in the fall of 2012.
Description: Through our Graduate Arts Award, we provide scholarships worth up to $50,000 per year to help students earn a graduate degree in the performing arts, visual arts, and creative writing. All
applicants must be nominated by their university.
