TCF BANK SUPPORTING EXCELLENCE ENTERPRISE (S.E.E.) SCHOLARSHIP

Important Notes: Students will be notified NO LATER THAN FRIDAY, APRIL 17, 2009, of the outcome.

Eligibility: Must be a full-time, undergraduate student at UIC; have completed AT LEAST 40 hours of academic coursework, with AT LEAST 24 CREDIT HOURS COMPLETED AT UIC; have a cumulative GPA of 2.75/4.0 scale; be in good academic and disciplinary standing; have demonstrated financial need; and demonstrate co-curricular leadership on UIC’s campus by holding a leadership position with a REGISTERED UIC student organization or in a recognized student group or position that has had campus-wide impact.

Description: In an effort to make communities more vibrant and healthy, TCF Bank has partnered with UIC to create the Supporting Excellence Enterprise (S.E.E.) scholarships. This award has been established to provide support to undergraduate students who demonstrate campus-level leadership and academic excellence, recognizing the importance of co-curricular life in the vitality of a community and in the educational experiences of it students.

Up to four (4) scholarships worth $5,000 each will be awarded over the period of an academic year (two semesters), with $2,500 being designated for the first semester and the remaining $2,500 for the second. The scholarship is good for one year, and is non-renewable.
