Chancellor's Status Committees

UIC is among the nation's most diverse universities. UIC established the Chancellor's Status Committees to assist the campus community in supporting diversity. The committees create and sustain many important initiatives that have had tremendous effects on various campus populations. Their missions are to promote the professional, educational and social development of their constituencies and also to act as an advisory group to the Chancellor. They are :
  1. Chancellor's Committee on the Status of Asian Americans (CCSAA)
  2. Chancellor's Committee on the Status of Blacks (CCSB)
  3. Chancellor's Committee on the Status of Latinos (CCSL)
  4. Chancellor's Committee on the Status of Lesbian, Gay, Bisexual, Transgender, Queer People and Allies (CCSLGBTQPA)
  5. Chancellor's Committee on the Status of Persons with Disabilities (CCSPD)
  6. Chancellor's Committee on the Status of Women (CCSW)
