Making the Most of Your Day
UIC’s Open House is a great way to gather information about the wide variety of resources available to students at here on campus. There will be many activities taking place during Open House and we invite you to participate in any way that you please.
The Open House has no formal schedule. However, to make the most of your day, we recommend the following:
- Attend an admissions information session
- Attend an information session specific to your academic interest(s)
- Visit a residence hall
- Check out information tables
- Get your UIC gear at the UIC Bookstore
- Grab a bite to eat!
- Take a tour of Richard J. Daley Library
Start off the day at the Forum, with the UIC Expo. In the convention hall, you can pick up your program and map, while representatives will be on hand from across campus to distribute material and speak with you one-on-one. Please keep your program with you as it will assist you with navigating your way around campus. Your program will also provide a schedule of events that will help you make the most of your day.
After the Forum, head to UIC’s Quad for college specific programming, activities, and opportunities to tour the campus and it’s many facilities.
Stay as long as you like, and be sure to look for staff and students in red t-shirts to assist you for the day.
