Current and All Prior Enrollment
Students may print a current enrollment letter via Verify Enrollment. When first logging in you will need to use your UIC Net ID and password. This is the same username and password used for University e-mail. Next you will be taken to another form where you will click on Verify Enrollment again. This link takes you directly to the National Student Clearinghouse (NSC) website.
If you do not have a letter available or term is not indicated once you enter this site, it may be that your information has not yet been sent to the NSC. Information is received by the NSC typically on the 14th of every month during the term. The University of Illinois at Chicago has authorized the NSC to provide enrollment certification.
In order to use this site you must have a social security number and active mailing address recorded in our system.

Degree/Past Enrollment Verification
Students, parents, and state agencies of Illinois may send necessary verification forms and requests to Registration and Records for completion. The charge for each request is $4. We accept checks or money order for payment. To make such a request; the contact information is as follows;

Student Loan Verification
Students' enrollment for loan purposes is verified to the National Student Loan Clearinghouse on a regular schedule during each semester. The Clearinghouse then automatically updates your status with all of your lenders.
If your lender does send a deferment form to you and insists the form be completed, please sign it as required (borrower’s signature) and forward to our office. We will then send it to the Clearinghouse in order for them to update the lender. You may also verify your enrollment status by going to the National Student Clearinghouse website. Course Description
Students occasionally need complete descriptions of courses taken at the University of Illinois at Chicago for foreign degree validations or acceptance of credits at another institution. The fee for course descriptions is $4.00 for each request.
Please fill out, print, SIGN and send in the course description request form (pdf).
We accept checks, money orders for payment.
Recent academic bulletins may be found at www.uic.edu or at the University of Illinois main library archives section.
If the course description supplied in the academic bulletin is not sufficient, please contact the appropriate department for a specific course syllabus.

Residency/Fellowship/Internship Verification
Students, state agencies of Illinois, or employers needing verification for a students’ residency/ fellowship/ internship may submit the request to the Graduate Medical Education Department. You may contact them at 312-996-2933 or mail your request to:

Certificate Program for Teaching Verification
The Council on Teacher Education (CTE) processes all requests for verification of completed teacher and school service personnel certificate programs. Send your "verification form*" to the following address.
