Checklist
- Activate your UIC netid/password
- First Activate your UIC netID/password. You'll need your Univ. ID Number and Soc. Security number (more info here). Then go to: www.activatenetid.accc.uic.edu
(If you do not remember your University Identification Number (UIN), you can retrieve your UIN) - Activate your Enterprise id/password
- Next activate your Enterprise ID/password (more info here). You can do this by going to: https://eastemp.admin.uillinois.edu/eas/servlet/EasBluestemReset
- Submit your intent to Enroll Decision
- In order to secure your place at UIC, you must submit your Intent to Enroll (ITE) decision as soon as possible or by May 1st (Fall) or by December 1st (Spring). You may mail or fax your response, but the preferred option is to log in (using your netID and password from the above step) to my.UIC.edu then submit your ITE response.
Follow these steps: -
- Log into my.uic.edu
- Click on the "UIC Connect" tab
- Click on the "My Checklist" tab
- Click on the "Want to Attend UIC? Submit Intent to Enroll" Task to Do Item.
- Select "Yes" or "No" and click on submit.
- Verify your response and click confirm.
- A web page with a confirmation number will be displayed.
- Print the confirmation page for your records.
- Verify that your Intent to Enroll has been processed by the Office of Admissions by logging into my.uic.edu after three business days. On the UIC Connect Home page, the "Intent to Enroll Status" will state "Yes, you have accepted our offer of admission." If your Intent to Enroll has not been processed after 3 business days then contact the Office of Admissions at (312) 996-4350 and Press "1".

netID Problems?
If you have already activated your netID but do not remember what it is, you can search for it in the UIC Online Phonebook. If you do not remember the password for your netID, or you want to setup password recovery mechanisms or change the password, you can use the password changing utility.
If you are unable to resolve a netid issue or submit your intent to enroll and the Intent to Enroll deadline is approaching, you need to either fax or mail your Intent to Enroll form to the UIC Office of Admissions to ensure you meet the deadline.
- Register for Placement Tests
- Most freshmen and some transfer students are required to take placement tests.For detailed information, go to: http://pep.testing.uic.edu.
To register, go to: https://my.uic.edu/ Go to the My College page on the UIC Connect tab. In the My Links section, click the Placement Test Reservations link to access the Testing Services page.
- Apply for Financial Aid
- To be considered for Financial Aid, you must complete the Free Application for Federal Student Aid (FAFSA) which can be found at www.fafsa.ed.gov . Please note that the FAFSA priority deadline is March 1st.
- Apply for Campus Housing
- If you want to live on campus, it is important to apply early. Please use the online campus housing application which can be found at www.housing.uic.edu/apply
- Register for and Attend New Student Orientation
- Only after submitting your Intent To Enroll decision, you will receive more information about Orientation. During Orientation, you will meet with an academic advisor and register for your classes.
- Send Final Academic Transcripts
- Please be sure to have your final transcripts sent. You can find the form online by going to: www.oar.uic.edu/forms. Send to: Post Admit Unit, Office of Admissions and Records (MC 018), University of Illinois at Chicago, Box 5220, Chicago, Illinois 60680-5220.
- Complete and Return the Medical Immunization Form
- You can find the form online by going to: www.oar.uic.edu/forms. Send to: Office of Medical Immunization Records, University of Illinois at Chicago, Box 5220, Chicago, Illinois 60680-5220. For additional information, please call (312) 413-0464.
