Plan ahead ! October 2013 (date yet to be determined) from 3:00 pm - 7:00 pm at the University of Illinois at Chicago. You are invited to theseventh annual Chicago Graduate and Professional School Fair. The fair is co-sponsored by 26 schools includingthe University of Illinois at Chicago, Aurora University, Benedictine University, Chicago State University, Concordia University Chicago, DePaul University, Dominican University, Elmhurst College, Eureka College, Governors State University, Illinois Institute of Technology, Illinois State University, Illinois Wesleyan University, Knox College, Lake Forest University, Lewis University, Loyola University Chicago, National-Louis University, North Central College, North Park University, Northeastern Illinois University, Northern Illinois University, Northwestern University, Olivet Nazarene University, Roosevelt University, Rosalind Franklin University of Medicine and Science, and the University of Illinois Alumni Career Center.

Why attend such an event? The fair provides you with an opportunity to meet with students from many different schools and degree programs. More than 1,100 candidates participated last year. The event will be well publicized with ads and/or posters on each of the sponsoring campuses, in the Chicago Reader, the Red Eye, the Onion and other local media outlets;posters will be sent to all Chicago and suburban public libraries and to other universities within a 90 mile radius of the city; and 40,000 U of I alumni living in the Chicago area will receive an e-mail invitation. The registration fee, which you may now pay on-line with your credit card, will cover the cost of a table, parking, and a meal for up to 2 recruiters. We are expecting more than 225 recruiters to attend. While there are many excellent hotels in Chicago, we have reserved rooms at the Marriott Chicago at Medical District/UIC at a rate of $179.
