Information for non-credit students
Non-credit seats are available in most online classes on a space available basis. Students who enroll in Kinship Care Online class with a non-credit status have full access to all course materials, lectures, discussions and activities for the duration of the term. However, no final grade is turned in for the student.

Information for non-UIC students seeking academic credit
As a nondegree extramural student, you are able to take selected courses without making formal application for admission to a UIC school or college, provided you meet course eligibility requirements. Please note that admission under this status neither implies nor guarantees admission to a UIC degree program. Contact us for more information.
Extramural course fee: $675 per credit hour

Information for UIC Social Work students
Tuition assessment is based upon student level, residency status, curriculum/college and total number of hours enrolled for the term. The total hours enrolled determines the Tuition Range which may be viewed at http://www.uic.edu/depts/oar/rr/tuition.shtml.

Cancellations/Changes
If insufficient enrollment or other conditions require canceling a program, registrants will be notified as soon as possible and fees will be refunded. Changes in program content, instructor or scheduling are at times necessary. Participants will be notified of any changes in scheduling. External Education reserves the right, without prior notification to participants, to make whatever changes are deemed necessary for the effective operation of programs and courses.
