Application
Process:
IIE collects applications and after review and screening, contacts the
U.S. institutions points of contact to request admission on behalf of the
students.
The
following documents are attached for each student:
1. Common Application,
2. Transcripts,
3. IELTS or TOEFL score report,
4. Letter(s) of Recommendation,
5. List of
intended courses to be taken at UIC.
UICs
Office of International Affairs (OIA) receives the applications and contacts
the academic unit/college to request their review and approval. The hosting academic unit/college
receives from OIA the documentation sent by OIA as listed above plus the UIC
internal Approval Form. If the
academic unit does not accept the student, OIA immediately informs IIE of the
decision. If the student is
accepted, OIA forwards the documentation to OAR and the process moves
forward.
Please
notice that as of today, this new program is implemented without the ideal
terms for deadlines. The hope is to
begin making corrections as the program normalizes.
