Global Affairs Program 2011
UIC's Office of International Affairs was proud to host the annual UIC Global Affairs Forum on June 8, 2011.
The program had been developed in cooperation with the Office of the Governor and the Office of the Vice Chancellor of External Affairs Office of UIC. The 2011 Forum focused on Opportunities and Conditions of Trade and Investment.
The program included introductory remarks by Gov. Pat Quinn, and opened to a pragmatic exchange of perspectives on issues of policy, and potential opportunities for the development of optimum trading partnerships.
More than 40 members of the Chicago Consular Corps representing nations in South America, Europe, the Middle East, Africa, and Asia, were in attendance.
