12th Annual International Resources Fair 2012

This year’s International Resources Fair (IRF) will be held on Monday, September 10 from 11-2pm in the SCE Quad (1st floor SCE in case of inclement weather.)

 

The IRF is a great opportunity for UIC students, staff, and faculty to learn about international resources available to them at UIC and in the greater Chicagoland area.  Past participants have included such regional and national organizations such as the U.S. State Department, the JET Program, the Goethe Institut, and the Chicago Council on Global Affairs while UIC units have included foreign study providers, those offering foreign language instruction, and those providing scholarship assistance for international programs. 

Participating organizations will be highlighting programs offering international and volunteer opportunities, work abroad, language classes, cultural programs, global education, study abroad, and other international resources. 

The event is free to all participants and visitors. 

We will be hosting a free raffle for students who attend this year’s event.  Past years’ prizes included free movie tickets, vouchers for cultural/language courses, travel gift certificates, and t-shirts, among others.
