OIA supports UIC Faculty with the John Nuveen International Development Fund
The Office of International Affairs was proud to award the John Nuveen International Development Fund nine of UIC’s talented faculty. Each awardee was given up to $1000.00 to spend on a project promoting international work and collaboration. Focusing their efforts in their individual fields of study, the awardees were able to expand their work with international partners and institutions, as well as cultivate international relationships on behalf of UIC.
Each faculty member used the IDF in a different way. The following is a sample of the great work OIA is proud to support.
Dr. Ali Dijalilian & Dr. Amir Mehralian Dr. Brian Murphy Beate Geissler
Ophthalmology Medicinal Chemistry and Pharmacognosy Department of Art and Design
The work of each awardee furthered UIC’s relationships abroad and expanded on scientific, artistic, and humanitarian work that UIC so highly values. For more information about the wonderful ways in which UIC faculty used the John Nuveen International Development Fund, click here.
