Center for Chinese Studies Funding Research in Taiwan
The UIC Office of International Affairs is pleased to inform the UIC academic community of a funding opportunity coordinated by the Taipei Economic and Cultural Office in Chicago.
The 2007 Research Grant Program for professors and doctoral candidates is accepting applications until May 31, 2007. Conducted by the Center for Chinese Studies (CCS), the Research Grant Program offers monthly research stipends of NT$30,000 to NT$60,000 and travel subsidies for scholars of Chinese studies at universities in the United States. Professors, associate professors, assistant professors, doctoral candidates and other professionals interested in carrying out research in Taiwan are welcome to apply.
