The International Development Fund for Faculty (IDF) is intended to encourage international development at UIC by supporting faculty and staff in creating activities that will result in more internationally enriched academic environment and research opportunities, and the enhancement of already existing international programs.
Each academic year, the Office of International Affairs holds a competition, open to all UIC tenured faculty, for international projects benefiting the campus.
Due to budgetary constraints, the IDF will not be offered during the 2009-2010 academic year. Information regarding IDF for subsequent academic years will be posted in a timely manner.
