University of Amsterdam, The Netherlands Known as one of the best universities in Europe, Universiteit van Amsterdam (UvA) is situated in the heart of Amsterdam. UIC students have the ability to take a semester or full academic year of classes as many classes are available in English. College Restrictions: Open to graduate and undergraduates from all colleges. School year: Fall Semester: September – February Spring Semester: February - June Students may apply as full-year exchange students, spring semester exchange students, or fall semester exchange students participating in their final semester. Courses: Although many courses are taught in Dutch, there are also many courses available in English. Students may choose from options including: - Shared rooms - Single rooms with shared facilities - Single rooms with private facilities Students may also choose the price they wish to pay for rent for the semester: - 1775 Euros or less - 1775 Euros – 2300 Euros - 2300 Euros – 2725 Euros - 2725 Euros – 3650 Euros Deadlines: The University of Amsterdam Program has an earlier deadline than most UIC exchange programs.
