City University, Hong Kong: School of Creative Media

Listed as one of the best 200 universities in the world by the Times Higher Education Supplement in 2008, City University has a long-standing history of excellence in Asia as well as the world. Through UIC’s partnership with City University’s School of Creative Media, graduate and undergraduate A&A students are able to take courses in creative media for a semester or a full academic year.  Please contact Kristin Kutella in the Office of International Affairs at kkutella@uic.edu with any questions.

College Restrictions: Open to graduate and undergraduate students in the College of Architecture and the Arts.

School year:

Fall Semester: September – December

Spring Semester: January - May

Students may apply as full-year exchange students, spring semester exchange students, or fall semester exchange students.

Housing:

Student housing is arranged by the international office at City U. (although not obligatory). On-campus student residences are available for the following costs:

Double room: ~$650/ semester per person

Single room: ~$950/ semester per person

Requirements:

At least a 2.8 GPA

Must be a currently-enrolled, degree-seeking student at UIC

Must have spent at least two semesters at UIC before participating in program
