University College Dublin, Ireland As one of UIC’s newest international partnerships, the University College Dublin program allows graduate-level Urban Planning & Policy students to participated in the exchange program for one semester or one full academic year in Dublin, Ireland. University College Dublin is Ireland’s largest university and gives MUPP students the opportunity to study Urban Planning from a different international perspective. Please contact Kristin Kutella in the Office of International Affairs at kkutella@uic.edu with any questions. College Restrictions: Open to graduate-level Urban Planning & Policy students. School year: Fall Semester: September – December Spring Semester: January - May Students may apply as full-year exchange students, spring semester exchange students, or fall semester exchange students. Courses: The medium of instruction in Ireland is English. Courses will be offered in the UCD School of Geography, Planning & Environmental Policy. Courses taken at UCD will be applied to participants’ UIC transcripts and grades will count toward his/her GPA. Housing: There is a possibility for students to stay in the Glenomena Postgraduate Residences, but spaces are limited so students must apply early.
