The Office of Social Science Research is pleased
to announce the Fall round of its 2009-2010 Seed Grant
competition. OSSR financial support is available for
social science (or social science-related humanities)
research projects conducted by faculty (tenure or
tenure-track) in the College of Liberal Arts and Sciences.

Grants
The Office of Social
Science Research offers limited support for minor,
meaningful research expenses of an unanticipated and
non-recurring nature. Tenured and tenure-track
faculty in the College of Liberal Arts and Sciences
may apply for these funds on as-needed basis.
Examples of appropriate applications are travel to
take advantage of short-lived research opportunities,
small-scale pilot studies, and small feasibility studies.
Applications for micro-grants will be evaluated with
no longer than two week turn-around time.
